The Role As a People Operations Generalist Contractor, you will play a critical role in supporting our employees and contributing to a positive and engaging workplace culture. You’ll own a range of administrative and operational responsibilities that ensure smooth employee experiences and scalable People processes as we grow. What You'll Do
Support the employee lifecycle—from onboarding to offboarding—ensuring smooth processes and compliance with internal policies and employment regulations
Coordinate and administer benefits programs, leaves of absence, and employee perks
Maintain and update accurate employee data and records in Rippling and other internal tools
Assist with compliance needs including audits, documentation, and reporting
Support the development and rollout of people processes and policies, ensuring clarity, consistency, and compliance
Jump in on ad-hoc projects and help process improvements
What You'll Bring
3+ years of experience in People Operations, with a strong foundation in systems, documentation, and employee support
Hands-on experience with HRIS platforms (Rippling preferred) and Google Workspace tools
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a people-first mindset and a high degree of professionalism and discretion
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills; able to manage multiple priorities with follow-through
Problem-solving mindset and ability to work independently and cross-functionally (especially with recruiting, payroll, and IT)
Comfort in a fast-moving, ever-evolving startup environment and openness to change
Compensation: $40 - $50 an hour
