Overview
East Carolina University College of Nursing is currently seeking applications for a Tenure Track faculty position with interest and expertise in medical surgical nursing. Faculty responsibilities include planning, teaching, and evaluating theory and clinical courses that may include classroom / didactic, laboratory, clinical instruction, and online teaching. The position may also involve the direct supervision of students in clinical settings. Contingent upon the availability of funds. Tenure Track positions require a PhD in nursing or a closely related discipline with a graduate degree in nursing from an accredited institution. Two years of clinical nursing experience are required. A valid, non-restricted North Carolina nursing license is required upon employment. Preferred experience includes clinical and teaching experience in medical-surgical nursing, and teaching experience with a national specialty certification. Position Information
