Overview
Position: Senior Java Developer Location: Sunnyvale, CA (3x/ week onsite) Duration: 9 months Responsibilities
Contribute to backend development using Java/J2EE and Spring Boot. Build Java microservices using Java 8/11 and Spring Boot. Follow best practices for Git/GitHub or other distributed version control systems. Apply object-oriented programming principles, design patterns, and coding standards. Work with relational databases and experience with NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB). Identify problems, provide creative solutions, and collaborate to remove blockers to help the team progress. Communicate effectively and be a team player; lead the team by providing design and technical guidance as needed. Demonstrate a passion for new technology, open source, and continuous skills improvement. Qualifications
8+ years of Java, J2EE, Spring Boot development experience. Proficient in building Java microservices. Experience with Git, GitHub or other distributed version control systems. Strong understanding of Java concepts (collections, threads), design concepts, patterns, and coding standards. Proficient in Object-Oriented programming and design patterns. Backend development experience with relational databases; familiarity with NoSQL databases (e.g., Mongo). Independent thinker with strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Good communicator and team player with leadership ability to provide design/technical guidance. Willingness to lead and remove blockers to help the team progress efficiently. Equal Opportunity
