Bridgetown Veterinary Emergency & Referral is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Sterile Processing Technician to join our specialty services team. This role is critical to maintaining the safety and efficiency of our surgical and procedural operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in medical instrument sterilization. Responsibilities

Perform thorough cleaning, decontamination, and sterilization of surgical instruments and equipment using autoclave and gas sterilization methods. Maintain accurate records of sterilization cycles and equipment maintenance. Ensure proper packaging, labeling, and storage of sterile supplies. Collaborate with surgical and specialty teams to anticipate instrument needs and maintain inventory. Monitor and maintain compliance with hospital infection control protocols. Troubleshoot and report equipment malfunctions promptly. Support training and onboarding of new team members in sterile processing procedures. Qualifications

Minimum 1 year of experience in veterinary instrument sterilization required. Certification in gas sterilization preferred. Familiarity with surgical instrumentation and sterile technique. Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment. Strong communication and organizational skills. Experience in a veterinary setting is a plus. Schedule Options
