Required Qualifications
Bachelors degree or 4 years of experience with a high school diploma Demonstrated experience as a Business Analyst supporting claims system development or other complex, transaction-based systems. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a high level of attention to detail and accuracy in requirements gathering, documentation, and validation. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across technical and business teams, and to convey complex information clearly to diverse audiences. Hands-on experience working in Agile and Scrum environments, including participation in sprint planning, backlog refinement, user story creation and daily sync. Proficiency with requirements management and documentation tools, with the ability to create detailed functional and non-functional requirements, process flows, and use cases. Knowledge of testing processes and software testing tools, with experience supporting user acceptance testing (UAT) and defect management. Familiarity with mainframe environments, including JCL, ISPF, and TSO, is a plus. Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance. As a Business Systems Analyst on our Agile development team, you will: Analyze and document business processes, workflows, and system requirements. Serve as a liaison between business users and the technical development team. Create and maintain documentation (user stories, use cases, process flows). Support testing to validate that new features meet requirements. Provide training and support to stakeholders. Participate as a persistent member of a cross-functional Agile/Scrum team. Contribute to design activities, documentation updates and process improvements. Develop time/resource estimates to help drive project delivery. Contribute to the strategic direction of the team while ensuring due dates are consistently met.
