What role will you play? You will act as the primary point of contact for Operational Risk matters across stakeholders in the Americas, representing the team in leadership forums and committees. Your role involves providing independent oversight, challenging business practices, and driving improvements across the Operational Risk Management Framework. You will review and analyze risk assessments, incidents, and assurance activities, offering insights and advice to business leaders. Additionally, you’ll oversee key projects, train stakeholders, and ensure the effective management of operational risks for new business initiatives.
What you offer
Significant experience in commodities trading, commodities financing, financial markets, or related risk/support functions
Proven expertise in Operational Risk, Internal or External Audit within financial services
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and consulting skills, with the ability to form independent views on risk
Excellent communication skills, confident in engaging with senior business leaders and risk management colleagues
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a global, matrixed organization, with resilience and a results-driven approach.
