Senior Instructional Designer
Location: Hybrid – Raleigh, NC
Pay Rate: $46 – $50/hour
Length: November–December 2025 (with option for extension once 2025 budgets are approved)
About the Role Our client’s IT Customer Success and Enablement (CSE) team drives internal customer success and technology enablement to minimize disruption, enhance productivity, and improve the employee experience. As a Senior Instructional Designer, you will play a key role in designing, developing, and delivering engaging learning solutions that empower employees to adopt new technologies and tools effectively.
This role supports initiatives such as AI adoption programs, Cybersecurity Awareness Campaigns, and Workplace Apps & Tools training for enterprise-wide audiences. You’ll create dynamic eLearning, develop learning resources, and deliver impactful live training sessions that make complex topics engaging and accessible.
Responsibilities
Develop IT learning plans and needs analyses for key initiatives.
Design and deliver engaging learning experiences across live, virtual, and on-demand channels.
Create accessible learning content for non-technical audiences.
Build interactive eLearning modules in Articulate Rise and Storyline 360.
Produce instructional and internal marketing videos, including voiceovers.
Facilitate live and virtual training sessions to global audiences.
Manage learning projects to ensure quality, timely delivery, and alignment with strategic goals.
Implement surveys and evaluations to measure adoption, engagement, and learner satisfaction.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree and 5+ years of instructional design experience.
Experience developing courses in areas such as AI, Cybersecurity, Microsoft Productivity Suite, or enterprise apps.
Strong knowledge of adult-learning principles and frameworks (ADDIE, SAM).
Skilled in Articulate Rise and Storyline 360.
Preferred Qualifications
Ability to simplify complex, technical concepts into engaging content.
Virtual training delivery expertise (Zoom, VILT).
Video production and voiceover recording experience.
Strong project management skills with on-time, high-quality execution.
Experience working in an agile environment.
