Summary Under general supervision, performs a variety of routine to complex clerical/accounting functions such as inventory balancing, reconciliations, generating refund request letters, processing disbursements and deposits, keying journal entries and logging items in accordance with standard procedures in one or more of the following areas; general accounting, accounts payable, accounts receivable or related financial area. Completes special projects and resolves routine problems.

Employees cannot opt out of health benefits under the Service Contract Act. They will receive supplemental pay until enrolled, 28 days after hire. What You’ll Do:
Prepare financial data related to refunds, invoices, adjustments, disbursements, deposits, and disputes. Ensure data accuracy and organize for processing. Provide regular reports on accounting activities. Perform research to identify errors such as overpayments or misapplied funds. Resolve most issues, referring complex problems to higher levels. Calculate financial documents to verify accuracy of deposits, receipts, refunds, and disbursements. Support the finance/accounting function, monitor systems, track funds, balance accounts, and assist less experienced staff. Prepare journal entries and reconciliations. Respond to inquiries to ensure accurate billing and collections. Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in a related field or 4 years of relevant experience, or an Associate’s degree with 2 years of experience. Good communication, organization, attention to detail, and math skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office. Preferred:
Medicare experience Strong Excel skills Benefits:
