We’re hiring an Animal Health/GLP Auditor. This is a contract opportunity in which you will perform
1-2 day audits
at various suppliers in the US. You are given the flexibility to accept or reject these assignments according to your own availability. The ideal candidate has experience as a
Lead Auditor
with exposure to both
Animal Health
and
Pharmaceutical
environments. Due to the niche nature of
GLP auditing , this auditor will also be eligible for other related SQA audit projects across industries. Key Responsibilities
Conduct
on-site supplier audits
for clients in the
Animal Health
and
Pharmaceutical
sectors. Evaluate supplier compliance with
GLP (21 CFR Part 58) ,
ISO 17025 ,
GMP , and other relevant standards. Assess laboratory quality systems, calibration practices, and data integrity controls. Prepare detailed audit plans, perform opening/closing meetings, and write thorough audit reports per
SQA client specifications . Collaborate with the
SQA Content Team
for report reviews and follow-up questions. Represent
SQA Services
professionally with suppliers and clients. Required Qualifications
Minimum
5 years of quality auditing experience
in
Animal Health ,
Pharmaceutical , or
Laboratory
environments. Must have conducted
10 or more audits
as a
Lead Auditor . Strong working knowledge of
GLP (21 CFR Part 58)
and
ISO 17025 . Excellent audit reporting and communication skills. Availability for
at least two audits per month
(or one per month with potential to open additional REQs). Must be located within or willing to travel
up to 3 hours from Ithaca, NY . Ability to travel regionally as needed. Preferred Qualifications
Experience auditing
Animal Health facilities , including laboratories, vaccine producers, or feed manufacturers. Familiarity with
21 CFR 210/211 ,
GMP , or
pharmaceutical quality systems . Lead Auditor certification in
ISO 9001 ,
ISO 17025 , or
GMP/GLP . Background in
analytical laboratory operations ,
data integrity , or
method validation . Compensation & Travel
$1,400 - $1,400 a day $1,400 USD per 1-day audit
(inclusive of preparation, travel, audit execution, reporting, and follow-up). Travel expenses reimbursed
