Email Marketing Operations Project Manager

Looking for an experienced Email Marketing Operations Project Manager to oversee the planning, execution, and optimization of Healthcare Professional (HCP) CRM campaigns. This individual will serve as the key liaison between internal teams and external agencies, ensuring seamless execution, insightful reporting, and alignment with brand objectives.
The ideal candidate has a strong background in email campaign operations (3+ years required), agency experience, and proven project management expertise, with a data-driven mindset to translate metrics into actionable insights. Pharmaceutical industry experience is highly desired.
Location:
Mettawa, IL (Hybrid – 3 days in office)
Contract:
1 Year (Possible extension based on performance and business needs)
Pay:
$45-55/hr
Key Responsibilities
Manage day-to-day execution of complex HCP CRM and email marketing campaigns, ensuring flawless and on-time delivery.
Serve as a client-facing partner—documenting campaign strategy, deployments, and performance while collaborating across marketing, analytics, and regulatory teams.
Oversee end-to-end campaign workflow including requirements gathering, scheduling, deployment, QA, and post-launch optimization.
Partner with agencies and internal stakeholders to drive strategic alignment, process efficiency, and quality deliverables.
Monitor campaign performance using key metrics and dashboards—translate data into cohesive stories and actionable insights for brand partners.
Support process improvements through documentation, standardization, and automation to enhance campaign operations.
Conduct quarterly campaign audits and performance reviews, communicating findings to leadership and cross-functional partners.
Maintain compliance with Med/Reg requirements and ensure documentation within systems such as Veeva Promomats or similar platforms.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree.
3+ years of hands-on experience in email marketing campaign operations (CRM-focused, not just broad digital) — agency experience required.
Strong understanding of campaign analytics and performance metrics; ability to tell a cohesive story from data and communicate actionable insights.
Demonstrated project management experience—able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Proficiency with CRM and marketing platforms such as Marketo (ideal); experience with Salesforce and Power BI is a plus.
Excellent communication and presentation skills; confident in client- and brand-facing settings.
Strong collaboration, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience working with pharmaceutical or healthcare clients and familiarity with medical/legal/regulatory (Med/Reg) review processes.
Understanding of Veeva Promomats or other regulated content management systems.
