At Capital Veterinary Specialists, you'll experience a warm and welcoming environment while working in a state-of-the-art specialty referral practice. We offer services in Surgery, Internal Medicine, Critical Care, Canine Rehabilitation, and 24-hour Emergency Services. Our mission is to lead in veterinary advancements and provide compassionate, multidisciplinary care. We are committed to ongoing research, education, and knowledge sharing among colleagues. The Jacksonville area offers unique attractions, including beautiful beaches and a vibrant sports culture. With over 1,300 miles of coastline, water enthusiasts and those interested in museums, markets, and shopping will find plenty to explore. Responsibilities
Build strong relationships with colleagues, clients, and support staff to foster a compassionate and collaborative environment. Promote a learning environment for staff and veterinary students. Manage triage and treatment plans for emergency cases. Provide ongoing care for hospitalized specialty patients, including overnight and weekend care. Maintain accurate medical records. Communicate clearly with clients and support staff. Coordinate with referral partners through verbal communication and referral letters. Participate in morning rounds with specialists. Support a positive work culture and the hospital’s Fear-Free initiative. Our Commitment to You
