Infosys is seeking a Snowflake Data Modeler with experience in data warehousing and ETL methodologies. The position will primarily be responsible for interfacing with key stakeholders and applying technical proficiency across the Software Development Life Cycle, including Requirements Elicitation, Application Architecture definition and Design. You will play an important role in creating high-level design artifacts and will deliver high quality code deliverables for a module, lead validation for all types of testing and support activities related to implementation, transition and warranty. Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education At least 4 years of experience with Information Technology Candidate must be located within commuting distance of Atlanta, GA; Charlotte, NC; Raleigh, NC; Richmond, VA; or Dallas, TX or be willing to relocate to the area. This position may require travel in the US Development experience in creating Logical and Physical Data models Experience in Relational Modeling, Dimensional Modeling and Modeling of Unstructured Data At least 3 years of experience in Snowflake Proficiency in data modeling tools like Erwin, ER/Studio, PowerDesigner, etc. Strong knowledge of SQL, Unix shell scripting; programming knowledge in Python or Java Good understanding of Source systems in Banking and Financial Services domain and data architecture Experience in design, development of complex systems from scratch, and implementation of large-scale projects in Banking and Financial Services using Data Warehousing ETL tools Preferred Qualifications
Creation of both Logical and Physical data models Experience in Relational, Dimensional, and Unstructured data modeling Strong Snowflake experience The job may entail extensive travel. The job may also entail sitting as well as working at a computer for extended periods of time. Candidates should be able to effectively communicate by telephone, email, and in person. About Us
