Key Responsibilities

Client Engagement: Actively promote and represent the hotel's services and facilities to potential clients and customers, ensuring a comprehensive understanding of their needs. Keen understanding of the Moab market.

Revenue Generation: Through active prospecting and customer retention efforts, develop and implement strategic plans to achieve and exceed individual revenue targets within designated market segments.

Relationship Building: Cultivate and maintain strong client relationships, fostering loyalty and repeat business. Nurture local partnerships.

Qualifications

Experience: A minimum of 2 years as a Sales Manager in San Diego, or a similar market. Marriott experience is preferred.

Education: A four-year college degree from an accredited institution is desired.

Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Hospitality CRM system (STS, Delphi, etc.)

Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present ideas clearly and concisely.

Organizational Skills: Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently, including timely follow-up on tentative business and development of new opportunities.

Team Collaboration: Ability to work effectively as part of a team in a competitive environment and manage interpersonal conflicts professionally.

Team Leadership: Demonstrated success in leading and coaching Sales teams to exceed targets, enhance customer relationships, and drive revenue growth in fast-paced, competitive environments.

Group forecasting acumen

Proven track record of deployed segments, account penetration, speed to market, and closing Group and Business Transient

Tenacious and proactive Sales approach to finding new business and shifting share

Brand Ambassador: Maintains high visibility with peers and has strong product knowledge within competitive properties and the hotel community
