Position Overview: As General Counsel & EVP Risk Management, you’ll be a key member of TCI’s executive leadership team, providing legal and strategic oversight across all divisions. You’ll lead our HR, Safety & Claims departments, ensuring alignment with corporate goals while maintaining compliance and mitigating risk across multiple industries. Your role will balance legal expertise with business strategy — helping guide decisions that shape TCI’s continued success. Key Responsibilities: Provide strategic legal counsel to executive leadership and business units across all corporate entities. Lead and manage the HR, Safety, and Claims departments, ensuring alignment with company goals and compliance standards. Develop and implement enterprise-wide policies that mitigate risk and promote business continuity. Oversee corporate governance, contracts, real estate transactions, and regulatory matters. Manage relationships with external counsel for litigation and specialized legal issues. Support executive decision-making with sound, forward‑looking legal and risk advice. Ensure TCI remains compliant with federal, state, and industry regulations across multiple jurisdictions. Drive initiatives that foster a safety‑first and ethics‑driven company culture. Qualifications

Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school; active bar membership in good standing required. 15+ years of progressive legal experience, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership or general counsel capacity. Expertise in corporate, labor, real estate, transportation, and compliance law. Proven success in managing cross‑functional teams and advising C‑suite executives. Demonstrated experience overseeing multi‑entity or diversified corporate structures. Excellent judgment, communication, and executive presence. Preferred Skills & Attributes

Prior experience within transportation, logistics, or real estate sectors. Strong understanding of risk management frameworks and corporate compliance systems. Skilled in negotiation, contract management, and dispute resolution. Ability to navigate complex regulatory environments with agility and foresight. Strategic thinker with a hands‑on leadership approach and commitment to collaboration. Adept at balancing legal risk with business opportunity to drive organizational success.
