This position requires daily site presence and is a key role on the project team.

Responsibilities
Direct day‑to‑day coordination of trade contractors and sub‑contractors to ensure high‑quality work that meets project schedule.
Develop, document and communicate the work plan for field changes.
Thoroughly understand contract documents to proactively anticipate problems.
Obtain or verify all necessary permits for subcontractors.
Establish credibility with owners, trade contractors, unions and other partners.
Act as primary safety representative in the field and enforce safety compliance.
Lead contractor meetings regularly.
Maintain daily reports and documentation using software tools.
Create, manage and update the project schedule; implement contingency plans when necessary.
Communicate schedule status, updates and changes to the project team and trade contractors.
Plan, coordinate and manage job site logistics.
Develop the Quality in Construction (QIC) plan with Operations Excellence team and implement necessary changes.
Communicate with Site Services/Next 150 to order materials and schedule crew.
Train direct report Field Engineers and Superintendents on project needs, construction knowledge and business acumen.
Review and support writing scopes of work and participate in buyout.
Assist with Time and Materials (T&M) tracking.
Lead stretch and flex, daily huddle and pre‑task plan reviews.
Assist with general requirements financial forecasting.
Collaborate closely with business development to integrate sales strategies and client deliverables.
Train direct reports on processes, procedures and daily tasks.
Manage workload and performance of direct reports; ensure alignment with company standards.
Foster a positive and inclusive work environment to motivate and engage team members.
Aid in communicating company and department strategy to direct reports.
May assist with tasks typically assigned to more junior positions.
Qualifications Experience / Education
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Construction Management.
7–12 years of experience leading a substantial component or whole project for a value of $50 million or larger in a superintendent role.
Hyperscale data center experience is required.
OSHA 30‑hour certified.
STS‑C Certification.
First Aid, CPR, AED, Stop the Bleed Training.
Or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
Strong technical and communication skills.
Excellent organizational and problem‑solving skills with adaptability.
Ability to work in a team environment and collaborate daily with the project team.
Proficient in Microsoft Office.
Knowledge of construction software tools, including logistics and scheduling software.
Construction‑document and drawing literate; knowledge of all phases of construction.
Experience and proficiency in most divisions of work, methods, materials, scheduling, and cost control.
Strong knowledge and appreciation of construction safety processes; ability to enforce the project safety plan.
Ability to create a safety‑first culture with an incident‑free attitude.
Salary will be determined based on geographic location, skills, education, and experience of the applicant and internal equity. Pay ranges from $116,800 to $175,000 plus benefits and retirement program.
