Vehicle Acquisition Specialist at AutoNation Honda Fremont
Join AutoNation’s team as a Vehicle Acquisition Specialist, responsible for acquiring customer vehicles to expand dealership inventory. The role focuses on providing an exceptional customer experience and ensuring timely completion of the "We’ll Buy Your Car" process. This position offers flexible hours, hourly pay, and a bonus for each vehicle purchased.
Job Responsibilities
Respond to incoming leads through AutoNation, third‑party websites, phone, internet, and walk‑in traffic.
Utilize available resources to identify and engage private parties looking to sell their vehicles.
Set up appointments with potential customers to visit the dealership for an appraisal.
Execute the AutoNation We’ll Buy Your Car Same‑Day Payment process.
Review vehicle condition reports and inspect vehicles onsite.
Interact with customers throughout the day, both in person and over the phone.
Refer customers who prefer to trade‑in instead of selling their vehicles to the sales team.
Qualifications
High School diploma or equivalent.
Extremely self‑motivated with the ability to set and achieve targeted goals.
Demonstrated communication, prospecting, and interpersonal skills.
Organization and follow‑up skills.
Experience and desire to work with technology.
Using sound judgment, research, and excellent interpersonal skills to make offers on vehicles.
Valid In‑State Driver’s License and an acceptable, safe driving record.
Physical Requirements
Ability to sit and stand for prolonged periods of time.
