Location: Redmond, WA, US 98052 Duration: 12 Month extension possible based on needs and performance Salary:
$74.00 - $77.00 Per Hour Onsite - Redmond Must-Have Skills
5 years of layout experience with high-speed sensors, controlled impedance designs, multi-layer PCBs and FPCs. OrCAD or Altium designer PCB layout tools. Gerber verification and drawing creation for manufacturing. Working with circuit designers on layout guidelines, MEs on board shape requirements, and Vendors to incorporate DFM feedback. Nice-to-have Skills
Board bring up and troubleshooting. Designing with RF. Responsibilities
Own complex PCB/FPC designs, containing analog, digital, RF, Camera, Display, Audio, Sensors and power charging components. Multi-layer complex design experience required. Work with Mechanical Engineers to ensure board profiles meet system integration requirements. Create and manage PCB documentation including fabrication and assembly packages, such as Gerber, ODB, BoM, fab and assembly drawings. Interface with board fabrication vendor to select proper materials and stack-up, use correct impedance and rulesets. Work with assembly vendors to supply data and seek assembly design requirements. Resolve DFM and manufacturing related issues. Work with hardware engineers and document control departments to release fab and assembly packages into a company-wide PLM system. Work closely with ECAD librarians on maintaining and expanding the companywide library. Requirements
Requires a Bachelor's degree (or foreign equivalent degree) in Electrical Engineering or related field and 5 years of experience in the job offered or in a related occupation. Requires 5 years of experience in the following skills: OrCAD, PADS, or Altium designer PCB layout tools. PCB designing industrial standards for manufacturing. IPC Standard and guidelines. Gerber verification and drawing creation for manufacturing. Board bring up and troubleshooting.
