The role is for a TS/SCI cleared Systems Administrator joining our team to support our intelligence customer in Langley AFB, VA. At GDIT, people are our differentiator. As a Systems Administrator you will help ensure today is safe and tomorrow is smarter. Responsibilities

Maintain an organization’s computer systems’ workflows; upkeep, configuration and reliable operation of computer systems. Coordinate site visits and upgrades with on-site and remote users; provide on-site and remote resolution support for trouble calls. Provide Tier 1/2/3 support of Unix/Windows workstations and servers, including Web servers, network storage devices, and stored data in support of business processing requirements. System administration of desktop and server systems connected to local and wide area networks; manage accounts, security, OS installation, and related local system administration tasks. Support for implementation, troubleshooting and maintenance of IT systems and management of system infrastructure and related processes. Operate day-to-day IT system operations; monitor and resolve problems for client/server/storage/network devices and mobile devices. Install/load operating systems and applications using deployment tools (PowerShell, PDQ, MECM/SCCM). Isolate and resolve hardware and software problems involving applications, OS, hardware, and communications infrastructure; implement OS enhancements to improve reliability and performance. Perform software installations and upgrades to Windows OS and layered software packages; manage patches and licensing; evaluate and install software/hardware patches for COTS/GOTS products. Create and follow procedures to manage multiple linked databases with security, data safety, integrity, disaster recovery, and data imports/exports. Conduct routine and emergency maintenance of data center or end user equipment; coordinate preventive maintenance with impacted customers. Collaborate on backup and recovery plan development, administration and testing; ensure systems align with STIG guidelines and apply security patches in coordination with ISSOs. Maintain SOPs and provide clear resolution notes to tickets; verify system availability with Enterprise tools. Requirements

WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED: Bachelor’s Degree and 5+ years of relevant experience or equivalent combination of education and experience. Security+ certification or DoD 8570 Level II equivalent within 90 days of hire. TS/SCI Clearance required with eligibility to obtain CI Poly. Must be able to obtain System Administrator Accounts and access as required by customer. RHEL, Windows, and/or Storage administration experience. Experience with trouble ticket systems such as ServicePlus. Ability to respond to after-hours on-call support. Travel ability approximately 0-20% to local sites and other locations with similar architecture. Strong documentation skills; proficient in MS Office (Excel, Outlook, Word). Strong customer support and communication skills for end users. Ability to prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment. Physical Requirements:

The employee must be able to lift/move/carry equipment as necessary (max 65 pounds). Additional Details:

Location on customer site; US Citizenship required. Desired Skills

Experience in the imagery intelligence domain is a plus. Ability to create/modify scripts on Windows and Linux systems. Knowledge of customer processes and production environments. Windows desktop OS, Windows Server, PowerShell, Red Hat, SQL, imagery production chain expertise are preferred. General knowledge of database and network administration; ability with configuration management. Must have a valid US passport. Other
