Key Responsibilities
Prepare monthly financial statements and variance analyses for assigned properties
Maintain general ledgers, reconcile balance sheet accounts, and ensure accurate journal entries
Review accounts payable, accounts receivable, and tenant billing transactions
Reconcile bank accounts and monitor cash activity
Support property budgets, forecasts, and year-end audits
Partner with the operations team to resolve accounting discrepancies and enhance financial processes
Assist with CAM (Common Area Maintenance) reconciliations and property tax tracking
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
4-8 years of accounting experience (property management or real estate industry preferred)
Proficiency with Yardi, MRI, or similar property management software
