Talent Acquisition Specialist

who’s ready to elevate our hiring efforts and help us build the next generation of mission‑driven professionals. This isn’t a passive recruiting role. You’ll be leading the charge — developing creative sourcing strategies, coaching hiring managers, engaging candidates at every level, and helping brand our organization as an employer of choice in the community. You’ll join a collaborative HR team that values initiative, partnership, and impact. You’ll also play a leadership role in guiding and supporting HR generalists in their recruiting efforts, sharing tools, ideas, and best practices to strengthen the entire recruitment function.

What You’ll Do

Lead and manage full‑cycle recruitment — from job posting to offer — for roles across the organization.

Design and execute creative, high‑impact recruiting strategies to attract talent in social services, clinical care, and program operations.

Partner closely with hiring managers to deeply understand each role, team culture, and the kind of person who will thrive.

Build and nurture pipelines using social media, networking, employee referrals, and community outreach.

Craft compelling job ads and employment branding content that highlight our mission and values.

Represent the organization at job fairs, universities, and community events to grow visibility and candidate engagement.

Coach and mentor generalist recruiters to strengthen their sourcing and interviewing skills.

Track recruiting metrics, identify trends, and recommend process improvements to drive efficiency and impact.

Ensure all hiring practices align with federal, state, and local employment regulations.

Qualifications Who You Are

A recruiting pro with 3–5+ years of full‑cycle experience — whether in‑house, agency, or both.

Adept at high‑volume hiring while maintaining quality and candidate care.

A strong relationship builder — you take the time to understand people, teams, and culture.

Energized by the mission and skilled at telling an organization’s story in a way that draws others in.

Organized, results‑oriented, and proactive — you don’t wait for resumes to come to you.

Comfortable balancing strategy and execution, from designing campaigns to scheduling interviews.

Collaborative, yet self‑driven — you thrive in environments where initiative is encouraged.

Experienced with ATS platforms, HRIS tools, and social media recruiting.

Bachelor’s Degree required; bonus if you have a background in sales, marketing, or communications and you know how to make an opportunity shine.

Why Join Us

Be part of a mission that matters — every hire you make helps transform the lives of veterans.

Collaborate with leaders who genuinely value HR as a strategic partner.

Enjoy a supportive, innovative team culture that encourages growth, creativity, and autonomy.

Competitive salary, comprehensive benefits, generous PTO, and hybrid flexibility.

If you’re ready to use your recruiting talent to make a real difference, we want to hear from you.
