30 Days: Build out Dev environment
60 Days: Build out Test environment
Core Responsibilities
Design & Build
Design and deploy Azure infrastructure components, including virtual networks, subnets, VN gateways, firewalls, VMs, storage accounts, Azure Active Directory, and monitoring tools.
Build and configure IaaS and PaaS solutions (e.g., App Services, AKS, Azure SQL, Key Vault, Azure Functions).
Implement Infrastructure as Code using ARM templates, Bicep, or Terraform.
Automation & Deployment
Automate provisioning, configuration, and deployment using Azure DevOps pipelines, GitHub Actions, or PowerShell.
Develop CI/CD processes for infrastructure and application delivery.
Security & Governance
Implement Azure security best practices, including RBAC, managed identities, encryption, and compliance policies.
Configure and enforce Azure Policy, Blueprints, and resource tagging for governance.
Operations & Optimization
Monitor and maintain resource performance using Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, and Application Insights.
Optimize cost and performance across subscriptions and resource groups.
Support hybrid cloud integrations (e.g., VPN, ExpressRoute, on-prem AD sync).
Migration & Support
Lead or support the migration of on-prem workloads to Azure.
Provide Tier 3 support for infrastructure-related issues and participate in disaster recovery planning and testing.
Typical Skills & Experience
3–7 years of experience with Azure cloud infrastructure.
Expertise in Azure Resource Manager (ARM), Bicep, or Terraform
Azure Networking (VNet, NSG, VPN, ExpressRoute)
Azure Active Directory, Key Vault, and Azure Security Center
PowerShell, CLI, and Azure DevOps
Monitoring & Logging (Log Analytics, Application Insights)
Strong understanding of Windows/Linux systems, DNS, load balancing, storage, and backup strategies.
Azure certification preferred (e.g., AZ-104, AZ-305, or AZ-700)
