Senior Business Control Specialist
– responsible for driving and executing internal control discipline and operational excellence within a Line of Business (LOB) or Enterprise Control Function (ECF). This role involves providing analytical and administrative support for LOB/ECF processes and tools to drive adherence to enterprise-wide standards, monitoring and testing controls, and implementing quality assurance and quality control processes. The role supports governance, controls, and testing for Rewards programs affecting over 20M customers and $7B+ in annual earn, with opportunities to drive automation and improvements. Note:

Manage Rewards Governance functions including monthly stakeholder routines, procedures, and reporting metrics Develop requirements for Rewards controls to ensure accuracy Identify and own process improvement opportunities and minimize manual efforts via automation tools Oversee the design and effectiveness of the risk and control environment to support Client Operational Services and ensure adherence to enterprise-wide standards Support the monitoring and testing of controls by evaluating data to identify issues and control improvements for remediation Implement optimized controls and enhanced Quality Assurance (QA) practices to support business continuity Conduct and coordinate quality inspection reviews to enhance employee performance and control effectiveness Perform QA activities including executing on controls, managing cases, and reporting results Execute initiatives by identifying areas of potential testing automation, procedural updates, thematic trends, test script updates, and coaching opportunities to enhance QA program success Support regulatory exams, internal audits, and other monitoring and inspection reviews, evaluating data and information relevant to inspection metrics to support dashboard reporting Required Skills
Strong attention to detail with the ability to prioritize multiple concurrent initiatives Strong Excel skills including creation of templates leveraging complex functions, PowerPoint, and SharePoint experience Proven leadership and strong problem-solving skills Ability to analyze data and influence cross-functional teams and/or senior management and suggest process changes and improvements Control background and process-oriented experience Ability to work efficiently both in a team environment and independently Desired Skills
Knowledge of Card Reward programs and setup (Consumer and Small Business) Ability and willingness to educate others Bachelor’s degree in finance or business Job Code specific – Managerial Responsibilities:

Discretionary incentive eligible. This role is eligible to participate in the annual discretionary plan. Employees are eligible for an annual discretionary award based on their overall individual performance results and behaviors, the performance and contributions of their line of business and/or group; and the overall success of the Company.
