Position Summary
Fusion Academy’s Hingham campus has an opening for a Homework Café® Teacher to motivate homework completion and support executive functioning skills for grades 6‑12 students. The role is part‑time with potential to grow into full‑time based on student enrollment.
Candidate must bring positive energy, thrive in a high‑pace environment, remain calm and receptive to feedback, and be a self‑starter. They must respect the student’s personhood, build connective relationships while maintaining authority, boundaries, and discipline, and keep the learning space clean and organized.
Pay Range Pay Range : $28.50 per hour USD
Key Responsibilities
Monitor and help students progress in homework completion.
Communicate with teachers and parents on student progress.
Promote a positive social environment for students.
Develop and maintain genuine, positive, and consistent communication with parents.
Contribute to and benefit from the campus community.
Practice professionalism through ongoing development, reflection, and continuous improvement.
Provide meaningful student mentoring.
Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree.
Experience with Special Education and Youth Mental Health background a plus.
Must be able to multi‑task, be detail‑oriented, a great communicator, and a self‑starter.
Exceptional classroom management skills, basic computer skills, and an outgoing, well‑organized approach suitable for a dynamic school setting.
