Overview
Join our Raymond Team as an
Accountant ! We are seeking a passionate and detail-oriented accountant who brings analytical strength, curiosity, and a bias for action to the table. In this role, you’ll perform key accounting and financial activities that contribute to the success of our Operations Finance Team in a dynamic manufacturing environment.
What You’ll Be Doing
Own the invoicing process—manage daily billing activities, reconcile revenue and cost of sales accounts, and resolve general ledger discrepancies.
Drive month-end close activities—prepare accurate journal entries, investigate unusual balances, and deliver timely financial reports.
Partner across teams—collaborate with cross-functional departments to identify and implement process improvements.
Safeguard financial integrity—maintain and enhance internal controls, ensuring compliance with accounting principles and policies.
Deliver insights—perform ad-hoc financial analysis and provide reporting that supports data-driven decisions at the leadership level.
What We’re Looking For
Knowledge of accounting principles, practices, and business financial processes.
Strong interpersonal, communication, and analytical skills.
High level of accuracy and strong attention to detail.
Ability to meet deadlines and drive execution independently.
What Sets You Apart
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field.
Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
Familiarity with SAP.
Exposure to a manufacturing environment.
Awareness of financial reporting frameworks such as US GAAP, IAS, or IFRS.
Where And When You’ll Work
This is an in-person role located at our Greene, NY office—ideal for those who thrive in a hands-on, team-oriented environment.
Our team operates on first shift, with flexible start times, and we typically conclude our day no earlier than 4 p.m.
Upon successful completion of training, you may be eligible for a hybrid remote work arrangement.
Total Compensation & Benefits
Salary
- $60,000 - $70,000 per year. Compensation depends on the selected candidate’s education and experience.
Relocation
- This role may be eligible for relocation assistance.
