We’re seeking an experienced Remote Intake Paralegal who will be the first point of contact for individuals seeking answers, compassion, and advocacy. In this role, you’ll help evaluate which cases our firm can pursue, balancing empathy with sound judgment, and guide qualified cases through the onboarding process to ensure a strong start for litigation.
This position blends the roles of client advocate, case evaluator, and intake strategist with a strong focus on client communication, accuracy, and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities Client Engagement
Conduct interviews with potential clients to assess case merit and fit.
Build rapport and trust with individuals in crisis through professionalism and empathy.
Serve as the voice of the firm during a client’s first interaction.
Case Evaluation and Pre-Litigation Support
Review intake information and supporting documentation to help identify viable personal injury, medical malpractice, and product liability claims.
Flag urgent medical or legal issues for attorney review.
Coordinate with the pre-litigation team to ensure seamless case transition.
Client Guidance
Clearly explain firm processes, case timelines, and next steps to new clients.
Ensure intake forms and retainer agreements are completed accurately.
Maintain sensitivity and professionalism in all client communications.
System and CRM Management
Enter and manage all lead data in
Lead Docket
to ensure accurate tracking and follow‑up.
Monitor the transition of signed cases from
Lead Docket
to
Filevine .
Identify opportunities to streamline intake workflows and improve client experience.
Collaboration
Work closely with attorneys, paralegals, and the intake team to ensure each client receives prompt attention and high‑quality service.
Coordinate with marketing staff to improve lead conversion and optimize intake processes.
Qualifications
2+ years of experience working in a plaintiff personal injury law firm (required).
Familiarity with
Lead Docket
(preferred) or other legal intake/CRM systems.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Empathetic, confident, and professional demeanor when speaking with clients.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Comfortable working independently in a remote environment with reliable internet access.
Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus.
