About the Role As a Senior Mechatronics and Robotics Technician you will support the maintenance and operation of building systems inside a client facility. You will lead a shift and provide guidance to fellow technicians and control support partners.
What You’ll Do
Repair, maintain, and continuously improve the functionality of materials handling equipment (MHE) and robotic systems throughout the facility.
Lead and audit preventive maintenance procedures.
Install, maintain, and troubleshoot relay logic, ladder diagrams, control components, photo‑eyes, motor starters, limit switches, proximity sensors, solenoids, etc.
Lead and mentor work plans for emergency repair of critical assets and train Maintenance Technicians.
Build and close out work orders in a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS).
Cultivate positive working relationships with the Client and Operations Maintenance team members.
Perform other job‑related duties as needed or assigned.
What You’ll Need
Current US work authorization without the need for visa sponsorship.
High school diploma or GED.
4+ years of experience with automated conveyors and controls.
Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
Experience with MHE safety standards per OEM and safety standards.
Knowledge of electrical and electronic principles, National Electrical Code (NEC), and/or industrial electronics.
Ability to conduct preventive and procedure‑based maintenance.
Experience reading blueprints and schematics.
Experience with Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC) programming.
3+ years of work order management.
Ability to use and interpret statistical equipment to run metrics such as OEE/Up Time.
Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform stooping, standing, walking, and climbing stairs/ladders.
Preferred Qualifications
Associate’s degree or higher in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
Previous leadership experience.
Previous vendor management experience.
Experience with robotic maintenance.
Experience with CMMS.
Certifications in electrical, mechanical, access control servers, PLCs, process controls, robotics, or mechanical power transmissions.
