This position will be in charge of all quality aspects, including the QMS and maintaining the ISO certification for the company. We offer vacation, 401k, health and dental insurance available. of $600 for qualified candidates. Responsibilities
Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, diagrams and engineering specification sheets to obtain product information such as specified materials, cosmetic requirements and dimensions. Verify conformity of finished products by confirming specifications; conduct visual and measurement tests; return products for re-work; confirm re-work. Verify conformity of first piece by conforming specifications; conduct visual and measurement tests; return products for re-work; confirm re-work. Verify conformity of products going to outside service by confirming specifications; conduct visual and measurement tests; return products for re-work; confirm re-work. Accurately perform and complete First Article inspection reports and Non-conformance reports. Inspect production components and subassemblies for conformance to predetermined standards, specifications, tolerance and quality procedures. Verify conformity in-process production by confirming specifications; conduct visual and measurement tests; communicate required adjustments to production supervision. Document inspection results by completing reports and logs; summarize re-work and waste; input data into quality database (log in and KPIs). Document results of all inspection findings and results, including detailed descriptions/discrepancies, and monitor corrective actions to inspection findings. Perform complex and critical inspection procedures requiring special setup of new or unique equipment and interpretation of test data from various sources. Perform line, in-process, subassembly, shipping and receiving inspections as needed. Qualifications
Education: High School Diploma or equivalent GED. Proficient with GD&T, geometry and trigonometry (shop math). Vocational technical program certificate preferred. Min. Qualifications: Proficient in reading, understanding and interpreting specifications, blueprints, drawings, test procedures, work instructions, and other applicable production/inspection documentation. Working knowledge of inspection techniques and tools such as gauges, meters, calipers, and micrometers. Ability to perform visual and dimensional inspections of in-process and finished work. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Demonstrated analytical skills and attention to detail. Experience: Minimum three (3) years experience in a QC Inspector role in a manufacturing environment. Ability to read and interpret charts, graphs, technical procedures, blueprints and engineering drawings with close attention to detail. Working knowledge of quality control methods and techniques (first article, in-process and final inspections, manufacturing processes, testing procedures) and documenting results. Computer experience utilizing MS Word and/or ERP system. Quality Inspections
