General Statement of Duties This position is primarily responsible for the full recruitment cycle, including identifying hiring needs, sourcing qualified candidates through various channels, conducting initial interviews, screening resumes, managing candidate communication, coordinating with hiring managers, and ensuring a positive candidate experience to fill open positions within the company, all while adhering to recruitment best practices and employment laws.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Assist the Senior HR Business Partner and hiring managers in the recruiting process to include managing applicants from submission of application through the selection and placement processes.
Assistance in screening and identifying candidates that fit open job positions based on qualifications and company culture while complying with federal, state, and local regulations.
Ensuring each department’s staffing needs are met in a timely manner.
Track and report on recruiting related metrics that are measured and reported to hiring managers.
Communicate and build professional working relationships with hiring managers.
Assist in the administration functions of the HR team to include responding to inquiries and providing a high level of customer service to internal and external customers.
Work cooperatively with the Senior HR Business Partner and HR Director to assist with office administrative duties and functions as necessary.
Must be able to fulfill essential job functions in a consistent state of alertness and safe manner.
Qualifications Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
High School or GED equivalent required
Minimum 1 year of recruitment experience required
Knowledge of Montana and Washington labor laws preferred but not required
Forward-thinking approach to developing innovative recruitment strategies
Demonstrate proficiency in the use of basic office equipment
Demonstrate proficient skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and Teams
Demonstrate the ability tomaintain professional relationships with internal and external clients while providing high levels of service by communicating clear and timely responses to issues, requests, problems, and regular reporting
Demonstrate a high degree of confidentiality
Demonstrate an ability to appropriately retain documentation and supportive materials for administrative actions
Demonstrate a sufficient ability to problem solve and manage multiple interruptions effectively as well as successfully function as a member of a team through communication while engaging in self-directed resourcefulness and analytical thinking
Essential Physical Abilities
Sufficient clarity of speech and hearing or other communication capabilities which permits the employee to discern verbal instructions and communicate effectively with others in person and by telephone
Sufficient visual and mental acuity which permits the employee to comprehend written work instructions and make determination of necessary actions to take to meet the presentation standards for the facility.
Sufficient manual dexterity which permits the employee to operate standard office equipment.
Sufficient body mobility, flexibility, and agility to occasionally lift and carry objects up to 30 pounds, and to work in an office environment that requires sitting for long periods of time.
