Overview
The Events & Engagement Manager is responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing all organizational events and outreach initiatives. This position plays a critical role in fostering member engagement, strengthening relationships with sponsors and affiliate members, delivering on specialty events, and representing the organization at local career fairs and housing events. The ideal candidate will be highly organized, creative, and skilled at delivering exceptional experiences for members, affiliate members, and the community. Location and Schedule
This position will be on-site in Warwick, Rhode Island, for the first 3 months. Then, a hybrid schedule of 3 days in the office and 2 days WFH will be approved. Qualifications
3+ years of experience in event planning or related field. Strong organizational and project management skills, with ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines. Excellent communication and relationship-building skills. Creative problem solver with attention to detail and ability to adapt quickly. Proficiency with event and project management tools and Microsoft Office Suite. Trade association experience is a plus.
