Bancroft- Community Schools seeks applications for the position of Superintendent of the Schools. The District is located in Bancroft in Northeast Nebraska, with a PK-12 enrollment of 272 students. The District has an 18.6 million dollar addition to be completed in 2026; a stable, veteran, accepting faculty and staff; extensive early childhood programs; and college credit courses that allow Seniors to earn an Associates Degree in high school.
The Superintendent of Schools provides leadership and supervision to the faculty, staff, and students of a Nebraska school district in accordance with the policies and directives of the district’s Board of Education. Candidates must possess or be able to acquire by the opening date of the position, a Nebraska Administrative and Supervisory Certificate endorsed fully or provisionally for the PK-12 Superintendency. An Educational Specialist degree, Doctorate in Educational Administration, or an equivalent credential approved by the Nebraska Department of Education is required for this position.
