Director of Audit
We’re hiring an Audit Director to lead audit engagements, manage teams, and deliver high-quality compliance and advisory services. The Audit Director will play a key role in building the audit practice, developing client relationships, and supporting firm-wide growth strategies.
You’ll manage multiple audit projects, mentor staff, and work closely with senior leadership to ensure profitability and client satisfaction. This role demands a strategic leader with deep CPA experience, strong project management skills, and a passion for continuous improvement.

Responsibilities
Lead and manage audit engagements from start to finish, ensuring timely, profitable delivery
Build trusted relationships with senior stakeholders and serve as a business advisor
Mentor and coach audit staff, driving professional development and performance
Oversee budgeting, quality control, and departmental profitability metrics
Collaborate with leadership on firm-wide initiatives and business development
Qualifications
CPA with 7+ years of progressive audit experience in a public accounting firm
Minimum 3 years in quality control (QC) review functions
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting (MSA or MBA preferred)
Skills
Proficiency with audit software (Profx, Engagement, CCH) and Microsoft Office
Strong leadership, analytical, and problem-solving skills
Ability to manage shifting priorities and peak workload periods
