Responsibilities

Formulate, direct, and participate in the development and implementation of goals, objectives, policies, and procedures for the company manufacturing processes, work procedures, SOPs, SSOPs to ensure the Company is compliant with all regulatory and SQF requirements.

Coordinate Food Safety and Food Quality training programs with the QA and HR Managers. Assess effectiveness of training through routine auditing of employee work practices.

Manage internal and external auditing of quality systems.

Coordinate, review, and manage 3rd party audits of co‑manufacturers to ensure compliance with internal and SQF requirements.

Oversee the resolution of non‑conforming areas (process and product) to ensure that all proper SQF registers were used as required by SQF code.

Manage and audit company policies, procedures and systems that affect product quality to assure compliance with the company’s quality system and good manufacturing processes. Prepare documents and reports.

Assist QA and Production Managers to identify and develop relevant quality training for production employees to meet GFSI standards.

Annual validation of all CCPs.

Assigning and reporting quarterly customer complaint severity ratings. Prepare quarterly reviews of customer complaint trending and recommend corrective actions.

Using data collected in customer complaints, create quarterly trend reporting for CQPs (Sensory complaints and MAP complaints for fresh products).

Maintain and manage the FDA SOP programs and review daily documentation generated to assure regulatory and specification compliance.

Ensure compliance with SQF, HARPC/HACCP, process and quality SOPs, and adherence to cGMP standards.

Responsible for Food Quality, Safety and Legality.

Review and manage QMS System.

Qualifications

Clear communication skills in writing and speaking. Bilingual is highly preferred.

Good interpersonal skills (active listening, flexibility, patience, collaborating and working well together with others).

Ability to work safely in a fast‑paced environment and near moving machinery.

Must be able to perform repetitive tasks such as stand, walk, bend, lift, kneel, reach, climb stairs and work in different environments (cold/wet/hot) throughout the shift in order to complete the variety of tasks assigned.

Must have reliable transportation to and from work.

Understand and follow company policies, Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), Food Safety, Allergen Program.

Prior experience in Quality Assurance, HACCP knowledge, GMP implementation and SOP creation.

Code compliance.

HACCP SQF & PCQI certifications are highly preferred.

Evidence‑based reasoning.

Structured problem analysis.

Evaluation of complex issues.

Methodical approach to problem solving.
