Job Title:
Project Manager
Location:
Boston, MA (First Preference), Madison, WI (Second Preference). Hybrid – 2-3 days/week onsite
Duration:
12 months
Contract Type:
W2 only
Pay Rate:
$57.00 - $62.78/Hour
Project Manager to collaborate with sponsors, stakeholders, teams, leaders and product owners to drive results and deliver on assigned initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
Define, understand and document scope and deliverables
Create and maintain project plans following company standards
Identify project risks and issues, including mitigation strategies and timely communication and escalation as needed
Coordinate with applicable teams to meet deliverable dates and objectives, including working within the teams' processes and lead times (including PI Planning schedules and processes) to assure applicable stories are created and submitted.
Oversee and documenting all aspects of the specific project
Communicate with sponsors, stakeholders, teams and customers as needed.
Create and publish all necessary reports in a timely manner
Schedule and facilitate applicable meetings including publishing minutes and managing resulting tasks/to-do's.
Proficiency in project management tools and methodologies + Jira, Excel, PowerPoint, Confluence
Specialized Knowledge & Skills Requirements
Demonstrated experience providing customer-driven solutions, support, or service.
Solid knowledge and understanding of Agile frameworks (SAFe, Scrum, Kanban), principles, and values.
Strong understanding of technology practices related to CyberSecurity
Defining project benefit hypothesis
Identifying and communicating with teams involved in the project
Identifying stakeholders for project
Outlining assumptions about the project
Identifying constraints of the project
Identifying major dependencies for the project
Determining what the success criteria or KPIs will be for the project
Conducting kickoff and weekly or even daily stand-ups
Developing project milestones and timeline
Assigning responsibility to complete timeline items to individuals
Maintain accurate delivery dates within the project timeline
Develop and maintain project status reports
Proven interpersonal and servant leadership skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Strong facilitation and organizational abilities.
Demonstrated ability to remove impediments, resolve conflict, and motivate team members.
