Job Description
We're seeking a highly skilled
Audio Post-Production Advisor
with a passion for sound design and storytelling. This role is responsible for delivering expert-level audio production across all phases of content creation-from field recording to final mastering-for use across ALSAC's media channels. Ideal candidates will have experience crafting immersive soundscapes using SFX libraries and a deep understanding of audio post-production workflows.
Key Responsibilities Lead audio production efforts across field, studio, and post-production environments, including recording, mixing, editing, and mastering. Utilize sound design techniques and SFX libraries to create compelling and emotionally resonant audio mixes. Collaborate with Creative + Content team members to elevate audio quality and consistency across all projects. Develop and implement audio standards and best practices to ensure high-quality output and workflow efficiency. Provide technical expertise using
ProTools
and
AVID
software for audio post-production. Conduct interviews with patients, families, and hospital staff, ensuring full compliance with ALSAC and St. Jude guidelines. Maintain and organize audio assets, including logging, archiving, and managing a working library. Produce audio-only content for various distribution channels. Support studio operations, including maintenance of audio-related equipment and systems. Advise on post-production standards to ensure consistency, compliance, and creative excellence. This position will be based at our National Executive Office in Memphis, TN and be eligible for hybrid work.

Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in a production-related field. 5-8 years of professional experience in audio production. Expert-level proficiency in
ProTools ; familiarity with
AVID
or similar non-linear video editing software preferred. Strong knowledge of audio mixing, recording, mastering, and sound design. Excellent verbal and written communication skills; bilingual candidates preferred. Ability to interpret and execute complex instructions. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications. High attention to detail and ability to work independently in a fast-paced, creative environment. Preferred Skills
Experience with sound design and SFX libraries. Familiarity with compliance standards in healthcare or nonprofit settings. Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
