Shift:
Monday-Thursday, 6:00AM-4:30PM Pay Range:
$26-$30 per hour (Based on experience)
Job Summary: We are seeking a reliable, detail-oriented Shipping & Receiving Specialist to manage the flow of domestic and international shipments with accuracy and efficiency. This role is ideal for a self-starter who thrives in an independent work environment and is skilled in managing logistics documentation, digital platforms, and organization systems.
Key Responsibilities: Coordinate all aspects of domestic and international shipments, including preparing and reviewing shipping documents (commercial invoices, packing lists, customs declarations, etc.). Receive incoming shipments, inspect goods, verify against purchase orders, and properly document receipts. Utilize web portals and vendor systems to initiate and track inbound deliveries. Maintain accurate records of shipments and inventory in both physical and digital formats. Ensure compliance with shipping regulations and company policies. Schedule pickups and deliveries with carriers and maintain positive vendor relationships. Monitor and maintain stock levels for shipping materials and supplies. Communicate effectively with internal teams (e.g., procurement, production, customer service) regarding shipping schedules and discrepancies. Use Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, Word) to track, report, and communicate shipping activities. Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient shipping/receiving area. Qualifications:
2+ years of experience in a shipping and receiving or logistics role, including handling international shipments. Strong understanding of shipping documentation requirements for both domestic and international logistics. Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite. Comfortable navigating and using web portals to manage shipping logistics. Highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple priorities.
