Position:

Flex Security Officer

Location:

Cincinnati, OH

Pay:

$18 per hour, paid weekly

Shift Schedule

1st Shift: 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM

2nd Shift: 3:00 PM – 11:00 PM

3rd Shift: 11:00 PM – 7:00 AM

Responsibilities A Security Officer may perform a multitude of duties as specified by the Post Orders and Standard Operating Procedures (SOP). The officer must become extremely knowledgeable of Post Orders and SOP and act quickly and efficiently according to such directives.

The Flex Officer position is crucial to our company’s operational and financial success. The Flex Officer provides trained, competent support by working shifts that become open due to illness, call‑offs, weather, vacation, or other causes, enabling Sunstates to provide continual, uninterrupted service to our customers while protecting the health and work balance of our personnel.

Scheduling expectations include working any shift for which you are scheduled in advance, with the flexibility to cover short‑notice shifts. You are expected to work at least 80% of the shifts called in, and refusing more than 20% may impact employment status.

Requirements

Previous security, law enforcement, and/or military experience preferred

Excellent customer service skills

Ability to work various shifts, days, weekends, and holidays

Team oriented and flexible

1+ years of experience in a customer‑service role

Exceptional report‑writing skills

Reliability

Education Requirements High school diploma or equivalent.
