Overview
The Connected Commerce Product & Technology (PxT) Finance organization is seeking a highly motivated, critical thinker to support the Trust and Security (T&S) portfolio. As an Associate in Connected Commerce PxT, you will be responsible for financial budgeting, reporting, forecasting, and analysis related to the T&S portfolio as well as technology operating expenses and headcount. You will also act as a liaison between lines of businesses and business leaders, create presentations for senior leaders, and have a proven track record in a high-paced business environment.
Responsibilities
Perform financial budgeting, reporting, forecasting and analysis related to the T&S portfolio and Technology operating expenses and headcount
Serve as a liaison between finance organizations (lines of business, functional CFO, and other) support teams in order to provide impactful reporting, planning and insightful analyses
Produce presentations, analysis and supporting materials for key internal clients including senior management
Create, maintain and review financial models and analyses (both recurring and ad-hoc)
Ensure accuracy and timeliness of all financial reporting, system updates and presentations
Provide updates on progress vs. key metrics
Conduct "deep dive" analyses on key issues to determine root cause and propose solutions
Collaborate with business partners to ensure the timely, accurate and effective delivery of recurring and ad-hoc initiatives
Enhance controls and streamline processes, introducing automation where possible
Build and maintain strong relationships with key business stakeholders
Participate and support ad-hoc special projects and requests as needed
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field
3+ years of relevant experience in the financial services industry
Self-starter who can work in a fast paced, results driven environment
Sound judgment, professional maturity and personal integrity
Strong quantitative, analytical, and problem-solving skills
Ability to navigate multiple data sets and synthesize into cohesive presentation and recommendations
Ability to present financial performance information in a clear and concise manner that tells the ‘story behind the financials’ in a compelling way
Detail oriented with the ability to work well under pressure
Inquisitive, enthusiastic and diligent, confident, and capable of challenging peers; identifies and executes on opportunities outside of direct span of control
Ability to build strong partnerships with colleagues; strong written and verbal communications skills
Advanced skills in Excel, PowerPoint and Essbase
Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills
CFA, CPA, MBA a plus
Alteryx and Tableau a plus
Candidates must be able to physically work in our offices full-time (5 days).
