Overview
Senior MEP Manager to lead and mentor the MEP teams on multiple projects while working with Project Managers and Project Executives to define regional and project-specific needs in all areas of MEP. This role sits primarily on the job site, with occasional travel to the office for trainings and meetings.

Responsibilities
Protect Gilbane and the owner from cost, quality, and schedule impacts
Coordinate with Project Managers and MEP staff to understand project needs and how to best assist each project
Provide oversight and accountability for MEP-GMP preparation
Assist with the development and implementation of the Project Execution Plan
Manage the MEP document review process, Value Engineering, and constructability with MEP field staff
Assume overall responsibility for the buyout, installation, and testing of control systems on multiple projects
Establish long-term relationships with clients to ensure repeat business
Oversee the MEP discipline and staff on simultaneous complex projects
Identify staffing needs and assess staff skill levels
Provide leadership in peer group activities and career development for team members
Foster a positive and inclusive work environment to motivate and engage the team
Interpret organizational strategy and ensure the team understands their role in achieving goals
Collaborate with business development to align with sales strategies and performance metrics on projects and pursuits
Qualifications EXPERIENCE/EDUCATION
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
15+ years of related field MEP experience
Experience in a supervisory role on a large project
OSHA 30-hour certified
Or equivalent combination of education and experience
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES
Ability to troubleshoot MEP systems
Strong scheduling skills with proficiency in scheduling software
Strong risk management skills
Ability to manage the quality assurance process for all MEP work
Ability to create an environment where safety is the culture and trades operate with an incident- and injury-free attitude
Salary to be determined based on location, skills, education, and experience, with consideration for internal equity and team alignment.
