Job Summary As a Finance Manager for Client, you will play a key role in maintaining the integrity of the Defense North America Business Financial Planning and Reporting Systems. This position focuses on developing sustainable data management solutions, managing forecasting processes, and overseeing profit and loss (P&L), balance sheet, and cash flow reporting for the Defense North America division. The ideal candidate will have a strong finance or accounting background, with expertise in budgeting, forecasting, and financial system management.
Key Responsibilities
Support the Head of Financial Planning and Analysis and Financial Controller in ensuring the integrity of Defense North America’s financial planning and reporting systems.
Lead cash forecasting and cash management activities for Defense North America businesses.
Act as a delegate for business Finance Controllers as required.
Support development and maintenance of regional report inputs into sector headquarters.
Review, analyze, and manage project revenue, margins, and cash flow to identify key opportunities and risks.
Manage the local instance of the Value-Based Modeling System.
Specify and assist in developing performance monitors to measure financial performance against budgets and targets.
Lead the annual cost center budgeting process for Defense North America.
Required Skills
Education or work experience in Finance or Accounting.
Strong understanding of debits and credits.
Experience in budgeting and forecasting.
Proficiency in Excel programming.
Preferred Skills
Experience with Hyperion Financial Systems.
Experience with SAP.
High proficiency in Excel, including managing templates and extracting data.
Experience with Visual Basic programming.
Certifications: CPA preferred.
Education
Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting with 5+ years of relevant experience
Master’s degree in Finance or Accounting with 3+ years of experience
JD/PhD in Finance or Accounting
