The Lazard Global Asset Management Marketing team is responsible for developing and delivering strategic marketing campaigns, driving lead generation opportunities and increasing brand awareness among institutions and financial intermediaries.
We are looking for an
Investment Writer
to join our editorial team to help craft high-impact content across a broad range of topics, asset classes, audiences, and formats. This person will report to the Head of Editorial, based in New York.
You will balance writing in-depth thought leadership and investment and financial insights to help drive commercial results. You will collaborate closely with internal stakeholders (marketing, investment, and sales teams) to bring Lazard Asset Management’s intellectual capital to life and demonstrate its ability to help clients see around corners.
You’ll trust you to:
Develop clear, accurate, engaging client-ready content, on global markets, investment strategies and market trends
Collaborate with distribution and investments teams to identify market trends and client needs to craft content, converting Lazard’s unique perspectives into thought leadership pieces, emails, social media copy and digital campaigns
Help ensure the consistency and integrity of investment messaging
Support digital efforts by summarizing content and research into digestible formats
Proofread and fact-check content to ensure accuracy and compliance with editorial and regulatory standards
Tailor content for institutional, intermediary and retail investor audiences
Collaborate with design, and digital teams to optimize content format and reach
You’ll need to have:
5 or more years of professional writing experience, with at least 2 years of experience in the asset management industry, investment research or financial journalism
Ability to transform complex investment topics and market insights into content that resonates with our target audiences
Collaborative mindset with strong interpersonal skills for working across investment and marketing teams
A confident, engaging, sophisticated writing style
Command of investment management concepts
A self-starter who can bring new ideas to the table and work independently while managing multiple projects and deadlines
Support editorial operations by managing administrative tasks such as version control, content calendars, workflow tracking and coordination across stakeholders

We expect the base salary range for this role to be approximately $135,000 – $155,000 USD. Various factors contribute to determining the actual base compensation offered, including but not limited to the applicant’s years of relevant experience, career tenure, qualifications, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, relevant skills for the role. Base salary is one component of Lazard Asset Management’s compensation package, which also includes comprehensive benefits and may include incentive compensation.
