TECHNICAL MEDIA PRODUCER (PRIMARY) (P/T) - WWNY

WWNY Television has an opening for a Technical Media Producer. Expected to maintain and ensure the broadcast quality of our on-air product and perform duties in a live control-room environment. Direct live and prerecorded productions as assigned for 7News programming.
Responsibilities
Performs live control-room duties in a fast-paced environment, including managing commercial playlists, executing program commercial/promotional changes, logging discrepancies, and upholding broadcast standards and FCC regulations. Direct live newscasts and work with platforms including Ross Overdrive automation, Ross production video switcher (Acuity), ENPS, Xpression Graphics, Adobe Suite; support equipment in Production/Master Control—including operating robotic cameras, prompter, and audio; and maintain working knowledge of non-linear editing. Work well unsupervised and within a team environment; demonstrate troubleshooting, analytical skills, and the ability to work under pressure. Be willing and able to work a varied schedule to support a broadcast environment, including mornings, nights, weekends, holidays, and overtime. Candidate should be technically inclined with sharp computer skills; training provided. Broadcast experience is preferred but not required. The salary for the part-time position is $18,000 - $24,000 (DOE). Qualifications/Requirements
