The Senior Digital Marketing Specialist will develop and execute digital marketing and communication strategies across JE Dunn customer facing digital channels, including but not limited to external websites, social media and email and database marketing campaigns. This position will drive innovative digital strategies through development and distribution of engaging multimedia content. All activities will be performed in support of the strategy, vision and values of JE Dunn.
Responsibilities
Autonomy & Decision-Making : Makes decisions on non-routine matters, provides recommendations to supervisor, and refers all exceptions to supervisor.
Career Path : Digital Marketing Manager
Executes JE Dunn’s and its family of brands’ digital marketing strategy in support of company KSI’s.
Supports management of online presence for the JE Dunn family of brands through all social and digital media channels.
Collaborates with business partners to develop accurate, timely and compelling multimedia content on all of JE Dunn’s and its family of brands’ digital channels.
Supports digital distribution of JE Dunn’s and its family of brands’ content.
Supports measurement and reporting of digital marketing activities, assessing against goals (ROI and KPIs); makes data-driven digital marketing recommendations for optimization.
Adheres to brand guidelines and standard governance related to all digital content and activities.
Identifies and implements industry best practices, keeping an eye on emerging technologies and trends to make recommendations and support core business strategies.
Acts as a subject matter expert for the creation of multimedia content in line with JE Dunn’s and its family of brands’ digital strategy.
Contributes to marketing and communications effectiveness by identifying short-term and long-range issues that must be addressed within the digital space.
Maintains and upgrades technical skills and capabilities regarding the application of new technologies and software.
Provides ongoing review and competitive analysis of digital marketing activities across the AEC industry.
Provides regular updates on company’s digital activities and performance, including website analytics and campaign tracking.
Partners to develop and implement JE Dunn’s digital marketing strategy in support of company KSI’s.
Partners in the development and distribution of multimedia content related to JE Dunn’s and its family of brands on all digital channels.
Executes all national, regional and vertical strategies across digital media, including email marketing and programmatic advertising.
Designs and implements user journeys according to defined personas.
Partners and advises on website taxonomy and metadata modeling.
Partners to create SEO / SEM strategies for JE Dunn core marketing and strategic vertical businesses.
Advises internal clients on digital best practices and recommendations for site and campaign optimization.
Ability to perform work accurately and completely, and in a timely manner.
Communication skills, verbal and written – Advanced.
Ability to work on several projects at a time and to easily shift gears, listen and adapt to changing needs.
Strong project management skills with the ability to manage tasks and due dates accordingly and to work collaboratively with teammates on projects.
Presentation skills – Advanced.
Proficiency in MS Office – Intermediate.
Proficiency in creative suite applications.
Proficiency in core CMS competencies (WordPress preferred).
Proficiency in Omnichannel marketing.
Proficiency in Google Analytics – Advanced.
Knowledge of Google Search Console, Google Ad Words, and Google Tag Manager.
Proficiency in lead management, marketing automation and CRM.
Proficiency in multimedia content creation, including basic graphic design, photography and video.
Ability to demonstrate a proactive, customer-first approach in complex stakeholder environments.
Strong creative problem-solving skills.
Ability to build relationships and collaborate within a team, internally and externally.
Qualifications & Experience
Bachelor’s degree in digital marketing, communications or related field (Required).
5+ years digital marketing communications experience (Required).
3+ years website management experience (Preferred).
3+ years multimedia content creation (Preferred).
In lieu of the above requirements, equivalent relevant experience will be considered.
Physical & Travel Requirements
May require periods of overnight travel.
Normal office environment.
