Job Skills / Requirements HIRING IMMEDIATELY. Sunstates Security is currently hiring FLEX/Utility Security Officers in the Statesville and Mooresville, NC area. Both 2nd and 3rd shifts, Full‑time and Part‑time posts available, offering a starting pay rate of $16-18/hr, with weekly pay.
Must be professional in appearance and speech/behavior. Basic computer skills / phone app skills required. Must possess outstanding customer service skills and be dependable with a great work ethic.

General Requirements
Security experience is highly preferred
Full Covid 19 vaccination preferred
Excellent customer service skills
Good communication skills
Ability to stand and walk for long periods of time
Good observation skills
Attention to detail
Current PPSB Unarmed Guard License a plus but training will be provided for a qualified candidate
Ability to pass a background check and drug screen
NOTE: If you are selected for hire and you do NOT possess an active Security Officer license: you are REQUIRED to attend a 2‑day (8 hour) PPSB training course prior to being assigned to your respective post & shift.
A Security Officer may perform a multitude of duties as specified by the Post Orders and Standard Operating Procedures (SOP). The Security Officer will read and become extremely knowledgeable of Post Orders and SOP and will be able to act quickly and efficiently according to such directives.
Education Requirements High School diploma or equivalent.
