Responsibilities
Augment operational cyber analysts and provide consultancy for detection and threat-hunting
Advise on data preparation, implementation of techniques, and analytics developed by the employer and partners
Assess current cyber tools and identify efficiencies for improvement
Provide ad-hoc training to cyber analyst teams on tools to enhance current processes
Participate in post-engagement reviews and communicate effectively with leadership regarding progress and challenges
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree with 12+ years or master’s degree with 10+ years of experience in IT, Cyber, or related field
Active high-level security clearance required
US Citizenship required
5 or more years of Cyber Security experience, including Threat Hunt and Incident Response
Experience with network security analysis/IDS tools and analyzing packet capture and NetFlow data
Preferred Qualifications
Practical experience with scripting languages (e.g., Python, JavaScript)
Experience with system vulnerability assessments
Knowledge of Linux/Unix and Windows operating systems security
Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) experience
CompTIA Security+ or higher certification level preferred
