Typical Day As a Multi-Unit Team Leader you’ll provide leadership over three H&R Block tax offices, manage customer‑centric teams to accelerate seasonal tax business, and lead development of associates. The role starts flexible part‑time during the fall, then transitions to full‑time from January to April, including evening and weekend hours as needed. This position is not remote; it requires in‑person work.
Responsibilities
Serve as front‑line manager responsible for leadership and development of associates.
Deliver an outstanding client experience and achieve all office‑related growth objectives for three tax offices.
Manage office staffing, operations, and logistics for multiple offices.
Partner with the District General Manager (DGM) to create and implement office‑level growth plans and client growth targets.
Assist DGM in recruiting and interviewing candidates for tax office associate positions.
Conduct timely performance reviews and resolve associate issues in partnership with the Associate Relations Center.
Build an engaging team environment across all offices through training and coaching.
Lead daily team meetings and communicate essential information to tax office associates.
Create associate work schedules across all offices and manage labor, timekeeping, and paid time off.
Travel between offices as required.
Prepare tax returns after successful completion of the Income Tax Course or Tax Knowledge Assessment.

Your Expertise
People‑management experience with a proven track record of growing and developing associates.
Aptitude for growth‑plan execution and fostering a culture of growth.
Strong decision‑making and judgment skills; able to function well in a fast‑paced environment with minimal supervision.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a customer‑centric mindset.
Computer proficiency and ability to use MS Office.
Bachelor’s degree in a related field or high school diploma with equivalent experience.
Successful completion of the H&R Block Tax Knowledge Assessment or Income Tax Course (if preparing tax returns).
