Job Summary Responsible for developing independent account business, with emphasis on overall profitability through new sales and account penetration. Promote and sell company branded products and meet brand sales objectives. Supports customer service activities for regional and/or national chain customers, thereby increasing visibility of the company in the marketplace and maximizing market share.
Job Responsibilities
Generate additional business by analyzing sales territory and individual customers; sample products with existing and potential customers; plan general sales strategy including time and territory management; conduct effective sales presentations.
Grow sales and profit margins on an ongoing basis to meet established sales and margin goals.
Set up new customer accounts by determining pricing; work with Credit Department for initial authorization; coordinate with other center personnel for scheduling order-taking, deliveries, etc.; perform initial follow-up with customers to ensure delivery and product satisfaction.
Ensure customer satisfaction by providing exemplary service and coordinating with other center personnel to resolve customer problems; may be personally responsible for emergency deliveries.
Build additional business with current customers through product penetration to maximize profitability of individual accounts.
Minimize accounts receivable problems by monitoring accounts for compliance with credit terms and following up on any problems.
Maintain awareness of pricing trends within sales territory, particularly on market-driven/commodity products, to ensure competitive pricing.
Perform other related duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
High School Diploma/GED or Equivalent
6-12 months sales/marketing and/or restaurant experience
Valid Driver’s License
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management, Sales/Marketing, or related area
1-2 years foodservice sales/marketing and/or restaurant experience

Compensation We offer a salary between $75k - $125k based on experience during training. Post training, reps will earn commissions & subsidy until they scale their territory to 100% commission. Top performers can earn well over $500k annually!
