Job Description

About the Role As a Sales Advisor, you'll provide excellent customer service, welcoming and guiding customers through your store to actively sell our products and support customers with guidance. You’ll use your fashion and product knowledge to give customers all the relevant information for the best experience, assist with garment care and presentation, and maintain a clean sales floor and back-of-house area. You will work closely with your store team to deliver an exceptional customer experience.

A Day in the Life Working at H&M means no two days are ever the same, but a typical day will include the following responsibilities:

Customer Sales & Profit

Provide excellent customer service: welcoming and guiding customers through the store and supporting them with direct service

Engage customers with conversations to provide excellent service

Guide customers through our fashion trends, stories and products in all store areas

Promote and sell products effectively

Actively promote the Hello Member loyalty app and in‑store sustainability initiatives

Represent the H&M brand positively in all interactions

Support store management in reaching sales targets through commercial and operational actions

General Information Fashion & Trend Awareness

Stay up‑to‑date with fashion scenes, trends, styles, brands, products and competitors

Use product and fashion knowledge to share relevant information with customers

Team & Development

Share service, fashion and store operations knowledge and skills with colleagues

Follow procedures, routines and legal requirements in all store areas

Give and receive feedback to learn and support each other

Participate in onboarding, introduction processes, training and courses relevant to the role and future development

Retail Operations / Visual & Commercial Execution

Complete full garment cycle from unpacking and refill to steaming and ensure good garment care

Operate fitting room and checkout areas according to best practice and processes

Maintain a clean sales floor and back‑of‑house, including stockrooms

Present merchandise attractively, clear trends and stories according to visual and commercial guidelines

Maintain good stock levels with replenishment routines on the sales floor

Follow best practice for in‑store OMNI services and technology tools (In‑Store Care App, Click & Collect, Smart Store, etc.)

Support opening and closing of the store

Follow all H&S guidelines and legal requirements applicable to the role

Qualifications Motivated and passionate about fashion, customer experience and teamwork. Strong communication, creativity, curiosity, flexibility, decisiveness and action‑orientation. Sales experience in a dynamic, collaborative retail environment is required.
