Job Summary Utilizes a unique design aesthetic and signature style to create beautiful floral arrangements. Promotes sales, fulfills orders, and ensures top-tier customer service. Manages the floral department, leads and trains partners, and maintains department profitability. Essential Duties And Responsibilities

Train and develop partners, schedule, plan, assign, and direct work in conjunction with upper management. Review historical data to predict future sales from ads and promotions. Manage inventory to ensure satisfactory in-stock levels. Review profit and loss, sales, shrink, and labor data; provide verbal or written summaries to upper management regarding related issues. Be accountable for floral sales, labor, and meeting financial and profitability objectives. Use creativity and floral design knowledge to create stylish floral and plant arrangements for a variety of customers. Provide consultations to customers regarding price and type of floral arrangements for small-scale to large-scale events. Oversee in-stock and proper maintenance of plants, including cutting, cleaning, and storage. Ensure lasting quality and freshness of products through sustainability knowledge. Lead planning, ordering, and sourcing of products to maintain in-stock conditions and inventory control of the floral department. Build product displays for special events, holidays, and promotions to promote sales. Monitor and manage department shrink using current tools and processes. Make recommendations to category management regarding procurement based on floral product knowledge. Promote a customer-focused and proactive selling environment. Provide friendly, customer-service-oriented support by greeting customers, answering questions, and addressing complaints promptly and appropriately. Maintain a clean, safe, and sanitary working and shopping environment by adhering to company safety procedures. Knowledge, Skills And Abilities

Advanced knowledge of floral department operations. Strong knowledge of flowers, handling, and design techniques. Intermediate knowledge of budget planning, profit and loss statements, labor reports, and other financial statements. Intermediate knowledge of automated reporting systems (inventory, cost of goods, scheduling, time and attendance, labor). Ability to lead, motivate, and delegate responsibilities. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Effective written and verbal communication with partners and customers; professional and courteous at all times. Ability to use precision hand tools. Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively. Ability to conduct on-the-job training and demonstrate procedures. Ability to perform basic Microsoft Office functions. Basic mathematical skills for inventory assessment and ordering. Ability to promote sales and negotiate prices. Ability to work flexible schedules including nights, weekends, and holidays. Awareness of potential hazards and ability to place warnings; report hazards to a supervisor when needed. Education, Experience And Qualifications

High school Diploma or GED required. Two or more years of related experience; or an equivalent combination of experience and/or higher education. Minimum of 18 years of age; partners must be 21 years of age or older to drive for company business per policy. State certification and licensure required in Louisiana. Physical Demands

Continuous use of close and distant vision; depth perception and focus. Stand or walk continuously; frequently talk and hear. Use hands for reaching, touching, handling; push/pull/move objects up to 40 lbs (may require 75 lbs in some cases). Fine finger movements; occasional kneeling, bending or squatting. Attendance at work is required. Work Context And Environment
