Division Director, Pediatric Infectious Diseases at the UVA Department of Pediatrics, UVA Children’s Hospital. Open to individuals with M.D. or D.O. degrees; eligible for UVA faculty appointment. Clinical Care and Department Context

The UVA Children’s Hospital provides inpatient care within a hospital-within-a-hospital structure, including an active neonatal ICU, a pediatric ICU, and transplant and immunocompromised patient populations. Qualifications

The position requires: M.D. or D.O. degree Eligibility for appointment to the University of Virginia faculty Board certification in pediatric infectious diseases Experience with established laboratory or clinical research programs preferred Ability to contribute to clinical service in pediatric infectious diseases Responsibilities and Requirements

The incumbent will be expected to contribute to clinical service in pediatric infectious diseases and participate in academic activities appropriate to the rank. The exact track (tenure or non-tenure) and rank (professor or associate professor) will be determined as appropriate. Application Requirements
