Financial Analyst
position supporting the Locomotive product group. Progress Rail is an integrated rolling stock and infrastructure provider delivering a full range of products and services to domestic and international customers. Headquartered in Albertville, Alabama, our more than 7,000 dedicated employees serve customers through a network of close to 150 locations around the world.
In this role, you will be responsible for providing financial analysis and decision support to Locomotive leadership.
What You Will Do
Collaborate with the Locomotive business leaders to gather inputs and prepare comprehensive financial analysis to support business decisions.
Manage business proposal presentations and report progress toward key performance indicators.
What Skills & Experiences You Will Need
Education and Experience: Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance and 5+ years of relevant experience.
Analytical Thinking: Knowledge of techniques and tools that promote effective analysis; ability to determine the root cause of organizational problems and create alternative solutions.
Decision Making and Critical Thinking: Knowledge of the decision‑making process and associated tools and techniques; ability to analyze situations and reach productive decisions based on informed judgment.
Effective Communications: Ability to effectively transmit, receive, and accurately interpret ideas, information, and needs through appropriate communication behaviors.
Financial Analysis: Knowledge of tools and approaches of financial analysis; ability to read, interpret, and draw accurate conclusions from financial and numerical material.
Additional Information
Location: Preferred location is LaGrange, IL. Fort Worth, TX and Peoria, IL are also acceptable.
This role requires 5 days a week in office.
Domestic relocation is available for qualified candidates.
Sponsorship is not available.
Domestic travel up to 25%.

Summary Pay Range $110,520.00 – $165,840.00
